On Past Politically Payroll Programs...

November 19th:  This was the last show in this time slot, this day, with this name.  We finished up our serial "Queen of Payroll Vs the Chrome Dome of Doom".  And we had Terry Peacock back to complete his interview.  He filled us in on how the TIGTA watches out for unscrupulous enrolled agents and CPA's. To hear the show, click here.

November 12th:  Paula Singer gave us a great discussion on expatriate and nonresident alien taxation.  Click here to listen to the show.

November 5th:   Terry Peacock with Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration was our guest. TIGTA's goal is to promote integrity in America's tax system and it is the federal agency that actually audits the IRS.  We had a great discussion on how the department operates.  To hear the show click here.

October 29th:  We were suppose to have Terry Peacock with Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration as our guest. But due to technical difficulties with the computer at the radio station we were unable to record the interview.  Mr. Peacock will appear on our show next week, November 5th. Instead we had an excellent discussion of the new DHS No-Match letter Final Supplemental Rule. Replay the show by clicking here.

October 22nd:  I discussed the election and the health plans put forth by John McCain and its effect on taxes for employees and employers.  We had a great combined segment of Compliance Corner and Payroll's Place in Political History covering the history of voting methods and current laws on allowing time off for voting for employees. Click here to listen to a replay of the show.

Voting Laws in the States:  click here for a recap of the voting law requirements for employers for all 50 states.

October 15th:  We had Caroline Fan, a Policy Specialist, from Progressive States Network join us in dicussing enforcement of wage and hour laws and immigration legislation.  To hear the program click here.

October 8th:  Well it happens to us all eventually.  Sorry but I was out sick this time so we re-ran our great program with the Department of Homeland Security and the e-verify system.  We are working with Paula Singer from Windstar Technologies to reschedule her interview for a later show.  We let you know as soon as the details are worked out..

October 1st: We had a great show this time. We did expanded segments of our Payroll's Place in Political History and Compliance Corner as well as a new episode of The Queen of Payroll Vs the Chrome Dome of Doom. Click here to hear a great show.

September 24th: We had a great guest. Victor Newsom from eCommLink came to the studio to discuss paycards.  Click here to listen to a great show on paycards.
